Open the Messages app
Tap the search bar at the top
Type a name, phone number, keyword, or phrase
Scroll through the results to find the conversation or message
Tap a result to open it
On iPhone, swipe down from the middle of the Messages list if the search bar is not visible
On Mac, use the search field in the top-left corner of the Messages window
Use filters like sender name or date if available in your search results
