Open Instagram and go to the post, story, reel, or profile you want to check
Look for a location tag under the username or near the caption
Tap the location tag to open the place page
Check the location sticker in stories if one was added
Open the post caption and look for a tagged place name
View the profile bio for a listed location if the user added one
Use the search bar and type the place name if you already know it
Check tagged posts on a location page to see content from that place
If location sharing is enabled on your device, check your phone settings for Instagram permissions
