Open Instagram and go to your profile
Tap the menu icon in the top right
Go to Settings and privacy
Tap Privacy
Set your account to Private
Remove followers you do not want to see your following list
Block specific friends if you want to fully restrict access
Limit who can see your activity by adjusting privacy settings
Turn off activity status
Avoid connecting Instagram to other public accounts
Review your followers regularly and remove unwanted accounts
