Insert batteries into the Roku remote
Turn on the Roku device and TV
Make sure the Roku device is connected to the TV
Put the remote close to the Roku device
Press and hold the pairing button inside the battery compartment
Wait for the pairing light to flash
Wait for the Roku on-screen pairing message to appear
Follow the on-screen instructions to complete pairing
Test the remote buttons
Replace the batteries if pairing fails
Restart the Roku device if the remote still does not connect
