Place the sewing machine on a stable, flat surface
Plug in the power cord
Connect the foot pedal
Turn on the machine
Raise the presser foot
Place the spool of thread on the spool pin
Put the bobbin on the bobbin winder
Wind the bobbin
Insert the bobbin into the bobbin case or bobbin compartment
Thread the upper thread through the machine guides
Thread the needle
Pull up the bobbin thread
Place fabric under the presser foot
Lower the presser foot
Select the desired stitch
Adjust stitch length and width if needed
Test the machine on a scrap piece of fabric
