Turn off the sewing machine
Raise the needle to its highest position
Raise the presser foot
Cut the thread end cleanly
Place the spool on the spool pin
Guide the thread through the thread guide
Follow the machine’s threading path
Pass the thread through the take-up lever
Bring the thread down toward the needle
Thread the needle from front to back or as required by the machine
Pull several inches of thread through the needle eye
Place both thread tails under the presser foot and toward the back of the machine
