Open Instagram and log in
Tap your profile picture or the plus icon
Select Story
Choose a photo or video from your gallery, or take one with the camera
Edit the story if needed
Tap Your Story to share it with all your followers
Tap Close Friends to share it with your close friends list
Tap Send To if you want to share it with specific people
To share someone else’s story, open their story
Tap the paper airplane or Share icon
Select where you want to send it
Tap Send
