Open Instagram and tap the plus icon to create a post, Reel, Story, or carousel
Add your photo, video, caption, or edits
Tap the back arrow or close button
Select Save Draft when prompted
To find drafts later, tap the plus icon again and open Drafts
Choose the saved draft and continue editing or posting
