Open the FaceTime app on your iPhone, iPad, or Mac
Sign in with your Apple ID if prompted
Make sure FaceTime is turned on in Settings or FaceTime preferences
Tap or click New FaceTime
Enter the name, phone number, or email address of the person you want to call
Select the contact from the suggestions if needed
Tap the video or audio call button to start the call
