Check the fuel mix and fill the tank if needed
Move the blower to a flat, open area
Set the stop switch to the ON position
If the engine is cold, set the choke to closed
Press the primer bulb several times until fuel is visible
Pull the starter rope until the engine tries to start
Move the choke to half-open or run position
Pull the starter rope again until the engine starts
Squeeze the throttle trigger briefly to let the engine run smoothly
Let the engine warm up for a few seconds
If the engine is warm, start with the choke in the run position
If the engine does not start, repeat the priming and pulling steps
After starting, wear the blower properly and begin operation
