Turn on the Wii console
Open the SD card slot cover on the front of the Wii console
Press and release the red SYNC button on the console
Remove the battery cover from the Wii Remote
Press and release the red SYNC button inside the battery compartment
Wait for the lights on the Wii Remote to stop flashing and one light to stay on
Repeat the sync steps for any additional Wii Remotes
If needed, press the HOME button on the Wii Remote and select Wii Remote Settings to reconnect it through the menu
