File the top coat off the dip nails
Trim the nails down if they are long
Soak cotton balls in acetone
Place a soaked cotton ball on each nail
Wrap each fingertip tightly with aluminum foil
Wait 10 to 15 minutes
Remove the foil and cotton
Gently push off softened dip with a cuticle pusher
Rewrap and soak again if the dip is still hard
Lightly buff any remaining residue
Wash hands with soap and water
Apply cuticle oil and hand cream
