Find a donkey in a plains or savanna biome
Approach the donkey with empty hands
Right-click or tap the donkey to mount it
Keep getting back on after being bucked off
Repeat until hearts appear
Open the donkey’s inventory to equip a saddle
Use a chest on the donkey to give it storage, if desired
