Check for mating history with an intact male
Look for a slightly firmer, rounder abdomen after about 10 to 14 days
Notice increased nesting behavior, such as gathering hay or fur
Watch for a change in appetite, either increased or decreased
Observe more territorial or protective behavior
Feel for fetal lumps only if you are experienced and after 10 to 14 days
Monitor for fur pulling from the chest or belly area near the end of pregnancy
Expect a gestation period of about 28 to 31 days
