Sign in to your Google Account
Go to the Google Account settings page
Select Data and privacy
Scroll to Your data and privacy options
Click More options
Select Delete your Google Account
Re-enter your password if prompted
Review the information about what will be deleted
Download any data you want to keep
Check the required confirmation boxes
Click Delete Account
Sign out of all devices
Remove the Gmail account from mail apps and devices
Update any accounts that use the Gmail address for sign-in or recovery
