Use Quick Start during setup
Place both iPhones close together
Turn on Bluetooth and Wi-Fi on both devices
Keep both iPhones plugged into power
Follow the on-screen transfer prompts
Choose Transfer from iPhone
Wait for the transfer to complete
Use a wired iPhone-to-iPhone transfer
Connect both iPhones with the appropriate cable or adapter
Start the new iPhone setup
Select Transfer from iPhone
Keep both devices connected until finished
Use a computer backup and restore
Connect the old iPhone to a Mac or PC
Create an encrypted backup in Finder, iTunes, or Apple Devices
Connect the new iPhone to the computer
Restore the backup to the new iPhone
Transfer photos manually with a computer
Import photos and videos from the old iPhone to a Mac or PC
Sync or copy them to the new iPhone
Transfer contacts without iCloud
Sync contacts through a computer
Use a SIM card if contacts are stored there
Export and import contacts manually if needed
Transfer messages with Quick Start or encrypted backup
Use an encrypted computer backup to keep message data
Restore the encrypted backup to the new iPhone
Transfer apps by signing in with the same Apple ID
Re-download apps from the App Store
Sign in to each app separately if required
Transfer music, files, and documents with a computer
Use Finder, iTunes, Apple Devices, AirDrop, or a cable
Copy files to the new iPhone through the Files app or syncing
Transfer passwords and Health data with encrypted backup or Quick Start
Make sure encryption is enabled for full data transfer
Check both iPhones for enough storage
Update both iPhones to the latest iOS version
Keep the old iPhone until the transfer is fully verified
