Turn on the new iPhone and place it near the old iPhone
Make sure both iPhones are connected to Wi-Fi and have enough battery
Follow the Quick Start prompt on the old iPhone
Scan the animation on the new iPhone with the old iPhone camera
Enter the old iPhone passcode on the new iPhone
Set up Face ID or Touch ID on the new iPhone
Choose Transfer from iPhone or Download from iCloud Backup
Keep both iPhones close together until the transfer finishes
Sign in to your Apple ID if prompted
Check that apps, photos, messages, and settings transferred correctly
If needed, use iCloud Backup to restore the new iPhone
If needed, transfer SIM or eSIM to the new iPhone
Update both iPhones to the latest iOS version if transfer options do not appear
