Open the Settings app
Tap Privacy & Security
Tap Microphone
Turn off access for the apps you want to block
To disable Siri microphone access, go to Settings > Siri & Search and turn off Listen for “Hey Siri”
To stop microphone use in specific apps, open the app’s own settings and disable microphone permissions if available
To mute the microphone during a call, tap Mute on the call screen
To disable microphone access for all apps, turn off each app listed under Microphone in Settings
To check which apps have used the microphone, look for the orange microphone indicator at the top of the screen
To restrict microphone use with Screen Time, go to Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions and adjust app permissions
