Check your PC/laptop manufacturer and model
Enter UEFI/BIOS setup
Reboot the PC
Press the BIOS/UEFI entry key during startup (common keys: F2, F10, F12, Del, Esc)
In BIOS/UEFI, find the Secure Boot setting (commonly under Security, Boot, or Authentication)
Set Secure Boot to Enabled
If prompted, select Install/Load Default Secure Boot Keys (or similar)
If prompted, confirm that you want to enable Secure Boot and restart
Save changes and exit (commonly F10 Save & Exit)
Verify Secure Boot is enabled in BIOS/UEFI
In Windows, open System Information (msinfo32) and confirm “Secure Boot State: On”
If Secure Boot cannot be enabled, update BIOS/UEFI to the latest version and repeat the steps
If you use custom bootloaders, replace or re-sign them to be compatible with Secure Boot
If you use legacy/CSM boot mode, disable CSM/Legacy and switch to UEFI mode
Reboot after changes and re-check Secure Boot status
