Start the vehicle
Locate the wiper control stalk or switch, usually on the steering column
Move the stalk up, down, or twist it to the desired wiper setting
Select intermittent, low, or high speed as needed
Pull or push the stalk to activate the rear wiper if equipped
Use the washer function if you need to spray fluid on the windscreen
Return the control to the off position to stop the wipers
