Log in to your TransUnion account online
Go to the credit freeze or security freeze section
Select the option to lift or remove the freeze
Enter your PIN or password if required
Choose whether to temporarily unfreeze or permanently remove the freeze
Set the start and end dates if doing a temporary lift
Submit the request and save the confirmation
Call TransUnion customer service if you cannot access your online account
Provide your identifying information and freeze PIN when asked
Request the freeze be lifted or removed
Keep the confirmation number for your records
