Press the Scroll Lock key on your keyboard
Press Fn + Scroll Lock if your keyboard uses an Fn key
Press Fn + C, Fn + S, or the key combination shown on your keyboard if Scroll Lock is shared with another key
Open the On-Screen Keyboard in Windows and click ScrLk to turn it off
On Windows, use the On-Screen Keyboard from Start > Accessibility > On-Screen Keyboard
On a Mac, use a Windows keyboard or turn off Scroll Lock through the connected keyboard’s function keys
Check the Excel status bar to confirm Scroll Lock is off
Restart Excel if the key state does not update immediately
