Read the glue gun’s instructions before use
Check that the glue gun and glue sticks are compatible
Place the glue gun on a heat-safe surface
Insert a glue stick into the back of the gun
Plug in the glue gun and let it heat up
Wait until the glue is fully melted
Test the glue on scrap material first
Squeeze the trigger slowly to apply glue
Apply glue to one surface or both surfaces as needed
Join the pieces quickly before the glue cools
Hold the pieces in place until the glue sets
Avoid touching the metal nozzle or melted glue
Unplug the glue gun when finished
Let the gun cool completely before storing
Store the glue gun and sticks in a dry place
