How To Use A Telescope?

Set up the telescope on a stable, level surface

Attach the tripod and mount securely

Insert the eyepiece

Remove the lens caps

Point the telescope at a distant object during daylight for initial practice

Use the finder scope or red dot finder to aim

Adjust the focus knob until the image is clear

Start with the lowest-power eyepiece

Center the object in the main view

Switch to higher magnification only after the object is centered

Make small adjustments to keep the object in view

Use slow, gentle movements on the mount

Avoid touching the optical surfaces

Let the telescope cool to outdoor temperature before observing

Observe from a dark location when possible

Use a star chart or astronomy app to locate objects

Clean the telescope only with proper optical cleaning tools

Cover the telescope and store it in a dry place after use
