Connect the Xbox controller to your PC with a USB cable
Turn on Bluetooth on your PC and put the controller in pairing mode by holding the Pair button
Open Windows Settings
Go to Bluetooth & devices
Select Add device
Choose Bluetooth
Select the Xbox controller from the list
Wait for the connection to complete
Install the Xbox Accessories app from the Microsoft Store if you want to update controller firmware
Open the Xbox Accessories app and follow the prompts to update the controller
Launch your game and select controller input if needed
Use Steam Big Picture Mode if you want to configure the controller for Steam games
Open Steam Settings
Go to Controller
Enable Xbox controller support if needed
