Make sure Apple Pay is set up on your iPhone or Apple Watch
Look for the contactless payment symbol or Apple Pay logo at the checkout
Double-click the side button on iPhone with Face ID or the Home button on iPhone with Touch ID
Authenticate with Face ID, Touch ID, or your passcode
Hold the top of your iPhone near the contactless reader
If using Apple Watch, double-click the side button and hold the display near the reader
Wait for the checkmark and confirmation on the screen
Keep the device near the reader until the payment is approved
