Open System Settings
Click Keyboard
Turn on Dictation
Choose your language and microphone if needed
Open the app where you want to type
Place the cursor in a text field
Press the Dictation shortcut, usually Fn Fn or the Globe key twice
Speak clearly
Say punctuation marks as needed
Press the Dictation shortcut again to stop
Edit the text if needed
