How To Make Strawberry Jelly?

Wash and hull 2 pounds of strawberries

Crush the strawberries

Combine the crushed strawberries with 1/4 cup lemon juice in a large pot

Bring the mixture to a boil over medium-high heat

Stir in 1 package powdered pectin

Add 4 cups sugar all at once

Return to a full rolling boil

Boil for 1 minute, stirring constantly

Remove from heat and skim off foam

Pour the jelly into sterilized jars

Seal the jars with lids and rings

Process the jars in a boiling water bath if desired

Let the jars cool completely

Store the sealed jelly in a cool, dark place
