Check your laptop’s video outputs and supported display modes
Identify the ports on each monitor
Get the correct cables or adapters
Connect the first monitor to the laptop
Connect the second monitor to the laptop
Use a docking station or USB-C hub if the laptop has limited ports
Power on the laptop and both monitors
Open display settings on your laptop
Select Extend display mode
Arrange the monitor layout to match their physical positions
Set the primary display if needed
Adjust resolution and refresh rate for each screen
Set scaling if text or icons appear too small
Save the display settings
Test dragging windows between screens
Update graphics drivers if the monitors are not detected
Restart the laptop if changes do not apply
Use an external power source if required by the dock or hub
