Make sure your computer supports two monitors
Connect the first monitor to a video port on the computer

Turn on both monitors
Turn on the computer

Detect the monitors if they do not appear automatically
Choose extend, duplicate, or second screen only
Arrange the monitor positions to match your physical setup
Set the preferred main display
Adjust resolution and refresh rate if needed
Save the display settings
