Plug the Chromecast into your TV’s HDMI port
Connect the Chromecast to a power source
Switch your TV input to the Chromecast HDMI source
Download and open the Google Home app on your phone or tablet
Sign in with your Google account
Follow the app prompts to set up the Chromecast
Connect your phone or tablet and Chromecast to the same Wi-Fi network
Open a supported app on your device
Tap the Cast icon
Select your Chromecast device
Choose the content you want to play
Use your phone or tablet to pause, play, or adjust volume
To stop casting, tap the Cast icon again and disconnect
To mirror a screen, open the Google Home app and select Cast screen or Cast device
