Choose fresh flowers that are dry on the surface and free of damage
Trim the stems to the desired length
Select an airtight container deep enough to fully cover the flowers
Pour a layer of silica gel crystals into the bottom of the container
Place the flowers upright or face up on the gel, depending on the flower type
Slowly pour silica gel crystals around and over the petals until the flowers are fully covered
Gently shake the container or tap it lightly to help the crystals settle between petals
Seal the container tightly
Leave the flowers in the silica gel for several days to two weeks, depending on flower size and moisture content
Check the flowers periodically for dryness
Remove the flowers carefully once fully dried
Brush off any remaining silica gel crystals with a soft brush
Store the dried flowers in a dry place away from direct sunlight
Reuse the silica gel crystals if they are still effective and clean
