Open your Google Docs document
Select the text you want to make superscript
Click Format in the top menu
Hover over Text
Click Superscript
Use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + . on Windows or Command + . on Mac
To turn superscript off, repeat the same steps or use the shortcut again
