Park the car in a shaded area and let the body cool
Gather supplies: two buckets, car wash soap, microfiber mitts, microfiber towels, hose, wheel brush, and drying towel
Rinse the car thoroughly to remove loose dirt
Fill one bucket with soapy water and one with clean rinse water
Wash the wheels and tires first using a separate brush
Wash the car from top to bottom using a microfiber mitt
Rinse the mitt often in the clean water bucket
Work in small sections to prevent soap from drying
Rinse the car completely after washing
Dry the car with a clean microfiber drying towel
Clean the windows with glass cleaner or a microfiber cloth
Apply tire dressing if desired
Put away supplies and check for missed spots
