Sort towels by color and fabric
Load towels into the washing machine
Add regular detergent to the detergent dispenser
Pour 1/2 to 1 cup of white distilled vinegar into the fabric softener dispenser or during the rinse cycle
Wash towels in warm or hot water
Use an extra rinse cycle if needed
Dry towels completely in a dryer or on a line
Repeat as needed to remove odors and buildup
