Use only very fresh, clean, uncracked eggs
Wash and dry the eggs if needed
Prepare a clean, food-safe container with a tight lid
Make a water glass solution using sodium silicate and clean water according to the product directions
Cool the solution to room temperature before use
Place the eggs gently into the container
Pour the solution over the eggs until fully submerged
Keep the eggs covered by at least 2 inches of solution
Seal the container tightly
Store the container in a cool, dark place
Check periodically to ensure the eggs remain submerged
Remove eggs as needed and rinse before use
Discard any eggs that are cracked, floating, or have an off smell
