Turn off the main power supply
Verify power is off with a voltage tester
Remove the panel cover
Identify the correct breaker slot
Install the breaker into the panel bus bar
Connect the hot wire to the breaker terminal
Tighten the terminal screw to the specified torque
Connect the neutral wire to the neutral bar if required
Connect the ground wire to the ground bar
Secure all wires neatly in the panel
Reinstall the panel cover
Turn on the main power supply
Test the breaker and circuit operation
