Wear a fitted blouse and petticoat
Tuck one end of the sari into the petticoat at the waist on the right side
Wrap the sari around your waist once, keeping the lower edge even with the floor
Make pleats in the front with the remaining fabric
Tuck the pleats neatly into the petticoat at the center front
Bring the rest of the sari around your body from left to right
Drape the loose end over your left shoulder
Adjust the pallu length and pleats to sit evenly
Secure the sari with safety pins if needed
Smooth and straighten the fabric all around
