Make a small upward curve or entry stroke.
Draw a straight downward stroke.
Add a slight exit stroke at the bottom.
For uppercase I, add a decorative top and bottom loop if using a formal cursive style.
For lowercase i, make a short upward stroke, then a downstroke, then dot it above.
