Preheat the oven to 400°F
Line a baking sheet with foil or parchment paper
Place bratwursts on the baking sheet in a single layer
Bake for 20 to 25 minutes
Flip the brats halfway through cooking
Check that the internal temperature reaches 160°F
Optional: broil for 1 to 2 minutes for extra browning
Let the brats rest for 5 minutes before serving
