Go to your Instagram profile
Tap your followers list
Look for suspicious accounts with no profile photo, few posts, random usernames, or unusual activity
Open the suspicious account and review it
Tap Remove next to the follower’s name
If needed, block the account to prevent them from following again
Set your account to Private to control who can follow you
Turn on two-factor authentication for added security
Avoid using follower-buying apps or services
Regularly review and remove suspicious followers
Report fake or spam accounts to Instagram
