Wash and dry the affected area thoroughly
Soften the corn by soaking the foot in warm water for 5 to 10 minutes
Dry the skin completely before applying the cap
Remove the backing from the corn cap
Place the medicated center directly over the corn
Press it firmly into place
Leave it on for the recommended time on the package
Replace it as directed on the label
Avoid using it on broken, irritated, or infected skin
Stop use if you notice redness, burning, or pain
Wash your hands after handling the cap
Keep it away from healthy skin as much as possible
