Receive the UPC code and expiry details by SMS
Visit the Jio website or use the MyJio app
Choose Mobile Number Portability or Port to Jio
Enter your Vodafone number and UPC code
Fill in your personal details and delivery address
Upload required documents if asked
Select a Jio SIM delivery or eSIM option if available
Complete the online request and note the reference number
Keep your phone available for verification calls or OTPs
Wait for Jio to deliver the SIM or activate the eSIM
Insert the Jio SIM when instructed
Complete tele-verification if required
Wait for porting to finish, usually within a few days
Use the Jio SIM after Vodafone service stops and Jio activates the number
