Unplug the Keurig and let it cool

Remove the water reservoir, lid, drip tray, and K-Cup holder

Wash removable parts with warm, soapy water

Rinse and dry all removable parts thoroughly

Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth

Clean the needle area with a paperclip or Keurig cleaning tool

Reassemble the machine

Fill the reservoir with equal parts white vinegar and water, or use a descaling solution

Run brew cycles without a K-Cup until the reservoir is empty

Let the machine sit for 30 minutes if descaling with vinegar or solution instructions require it
