Remove and clean the filter
Empty the dishwasher completely
Wipe the door, gasket, and edges
Clear food debris from the drain area
Run a hot cycle with white vinegar
Sprinkle baking soda on the bottom and run a short hot cycle
Clean the spray arms and unclog the holes
Check and clean the garbage disposal connection if applicable
Use a dishwasher cleaner tablet or powder
Leave the door slightly open after cycles
Wash dishes before loading if they have heavy food residue
Repeat cleaning regularly to prevent odors
