Gather white school glue
Gather warm water
Gather borax
Gather cornstarch
Gather food coloring, if desired
Pour 1 tablespoon of glue into a cup
Add 1 tablespoon of warm water
Add a few drops of food coloring, if desired
Stir in 1 tablespoon of cornstarch
In a separate cup, mix 1 teaspoon of borax with 2 tablespoons of warm water
Stir until the borax dissolves
Pour the glue mixture into the borax solution
Let it sit for a few seconds
Stir until a ball forms
Remove the ball from the cup
Knead the ball with your hands
Shape it into a smooth ball
Let it dry for a few minutes
Bounce the ball on a hard surface
