Locate the Learn/Program button on the garage door opener motor unit
Press and release the Learn/Program button
Within 30 seconds, press and hold the desired button on the Genie remote
Release the remote button when the opener light blinks or the opener clicks
Test the remote by pressing the programmed button
Repeat the steps for additional remote buttons if needed
If the remote does not work, replace the battery and try again
If programming fails, clear the remote memory and reprogram the remote
