How to Remove a Kitchen Faucet?

Turn off the hot and cold water supply valves under the sink

Open the faucet to release any remaining water pressure

Place a bucket or towel under the sink to catch drips

Disconnect the water supply lines from the faucet using an adjustable wrench

Remove any mounting nuts or brackets securing the faucet to the sink

Use a basin wrench if the mounting nuts are hard to reach

Disconnect any sprayer hose, soap dispenser, or other attached accessories

Lift the faucet straight up and out of the sink or countertop

Clean the mounting area and remove old plumber’s putty or sealant

Shut off the main water supply if the under-sink valves are stuck or leaking
