Turn off the water supply to the outdoor faucet
Open the faucet to drain any remaining water
Check for a loose handle and tighten the packing nut
Replace a worn washer or O-ring inside the faucet
Inspect the hose bib for cracks or corrosion
Replace the entire faucet if the body is damaged
Check the pipe connection inside the wall for leaks
Repair or replace any damaged pipe fittings
Reassemble the faucet and turn the water back on
Test for leaks and proper water flow
Install a frost-free faucet if freezing is a recurring issue
