Choose a frame or hoop that fits the design
Center the stitched piece on the backing
Stretch the fabric evenly and smooth out wrinkles
Secure the fabric to the backing with pins, tape, or lacing
Mount the piece in the frame or hoop
Add a mat if desired
Place the glass or acrylic over the work if using a frame
Close and secure the frame
Check alignment and adjust if needed
Hang or display the framed cross stitch
